Kundalini Yoga on Zoom

Kundalini Yoga, also known as the yoga of awareness is a tool for healing subconscious patterns in the mind through movement, breath work, mantra recitation, and meditation. ‘Kundalini’ is defined as a dormant energy that resides at the base of the spine.

 

During a Kundalini practice, also known as a ‘Kriya’ (to cleanse), the energy begins to rise through the subtle energy channels in the body, helping to heal, restore balance, and create new neurological pathways in the brain which open us up to new experiences in our lives. The practice is a tool for transformation, change, and deep healing.

Classes are open to all and give participants a taste of the Kundalini experience. To anyone who has practiced yoga with me, this is a lot different from the usual postures we do in a typical movement-based practice. It’s quite unique but a lot of fun and very enlivening! I look forward to seeing you on Zoom soon!
